The Presto-PS (7806) rain sensor is designed to automatically stop irrigation during rainfall when connected to irrigation timers or controllers. Special hygroscopic discs inside the sensor absorb moisture and expand, interrupting the electrical circuit and preventing irrigation cycles. Once the discs dry, irrigation resumes automatically. The sensor connects via a 5-meter cable with a jack plug or can be wired directly to compatible controllers. It helps save water and prevents overwatering of plants.
